MVM is now compatible with the Admiralty Raster Chart Service (ARCS). This service allows encrypted raster chart images produced by the UK Hydrographic Office to be used as background maps for MVM.
The client may purchase the ARCS Skipper or ARCS Navigator services directly from any Authorised Admiralty Distributer.
ARCS charts require a middle program called ARCS for GIS. This product, from Intelliscan allows for ARCS charts to be used in MVM.

Note: Internet Explorer 6.0 & up have a feature to "Fit Image To Window". When you click on the thumbnails or links below, the maps shown may not be clear if viewed in a "shrunken" view as created by I.E. 6.0. If "shrunken", the pictures can be expanded to regular size through use of the button which should appear at the bottom right hand corner of the map when the user hovers the mouse anywhere over the map. The maps should be viewed at their native format of 1024 x 768 for best presentation, even if it means scrolling a bit if using a smaller resolution browser screen.
